Project description

Rope making is a craft that predates Homo sapiens and has been passed down for thousands of years. Common Threads aims to connect us to our past while providing participants with skills to mend, repair, and create both ornamental and functional items. The netted structure, created from threads woven by participants, serves as both a form of data storage and a metaphor for the connections made.
